The sun was out again (can you believe it?) and we decided to go to Greenwich this weekend. And I must say it was the most impressive place we had been to so far. There were several sights to see, so we basically made a day trip out of this attraction. We first went to the Royal Observatory, where the prime meridian longitude is at 0 degrees....it was amazing to learn that the Brits were the first to discover this concept of longitude because their ships kept crashing into eachother. The Brits were actually quite clever people! In linkage to this, next stop was the Maritime Museum where hubby stood proud next to Captain James Cook. One of his fave fishing destinations is at Captain Cook (Botany Bay), so he was quick to post this pic on his fishing clubwebsite.
The most impressive yet....was the Royal Naval College, comprising of two main buildings; The Chapel and The Painted Hall. The highlights were the amazing pastel paintings plastered on the ceilings and walls of these building, really really beautiful. Even the very non-artistic oppa was very impressed. We must take Boris oppa here, he will love it! Plus, all admission was free! London is slowly growing on us....cooking is slowly growing on me....we just wish you were all here with us, it would make this place so much more enjoyable.

I think it's called Saroha or something like that, it's a village in some remote area which requires minimum travel of 4 hours by foot to reach. You wanna visit us on the mission?? :P
Anyway, I won't be there January so you get to miss out on the oportunity. hehe
Mahoney: I think you should travel to Europe again with your flash new camera! We are planning our europe tour, Spain for Christmas, then all around Europe for 3 weeks. I hear that the winter impression is quite different. Join us!
Gogi: thanks oppa for the camera info, oppa has gone crazy with this whole camera thing. I blame it on the lack of golf and fishing.
James: Hey miss you guys...I sent Narae an email...hope all the planning is going well.
G1: all the best with the mission trip...makes you think with the current situation in Afghanistan. Will pray for you:)
