On Sunday we took a trip to Oxford Circus in search of THE All Souls Church. Thanks to me we got lost but we eventually found what was an impressively beautiful church. I immediately got my camera out and took some snapshots, thinking to myself, mum would just love this church. We got inside and the inside was not so impressive. It had a very strange smell to it, you know that old mouldy smell. Nonetheless, I personally thought the sermon and service was great. A stark contrast from HillSong London.... An orchestra sat at the right of the stage with a very small old school choir at the left and their "songs" were from the stone ages, but I really enjoyed it. The speaker spoke of Hosea and I thought he was amazing but my husband did not agree. My husband opts for HillSong over All Souls. Husband wins. Well, the agreement is to make HillSong our church until Boris oppa comes. Then we shall see....
The UK is currently in a state of "critical" terrorist threat, which is the highest likelihood that a terrorist attack will occur. I feel uneasy in this already sufficiently foreign country....my father-in-law calls almost everyday and keeps telling us not to leave the house! Here they refer to being "asian" as being from India, Pakistan etc, and we are called "orientals". Currently suspicious looking "asians"are being randomly strip searched on the streets. Fortunately, we are orientals.

Boris oppa please excuse Jamie's discouragement. Yes you do get alot of snot up your nose but there are alot of good things too. there is so much to do here, and we are saving alot of things for your arrival. Apparently Oxford and Cambridge University, Windsor Castle, Essex, Regent's Park are amazing places...all about an hour away by car. We worked out it would be cheaper to hire a nice european car and go the three of us. We could also drive to Edinburgh and Scotland which are meant to be beautiful! So look forward to it. Jamie just has major snot issues and suffering from a lack of nicotine in his system. Get excited but prepared^^!!!

You should try Paris weekender while you are in London. From memory it is like 3 hours or so trip via the bullet train to Paris.
If you run, you can pretty much see the major sites in Paris in one day. However I would recommend spending a whole day in the L'ouvre museum. That is an amazing place.

Yes we hope to get some soccer action, except tickets are really hard to get. So we will have to see...our locality supports Arsenal. So I am thinking we will go to a Man united vs Arsenal game....we hope! We are waiting in anticipation!
